Basic Employment Law Course









 

Each Wednesday afternoon 2.30-4.30pm on 4, 11, 18 and 25 October, and 1 and 8 November 2000, Pearce Institute, 840 Govan Road, Glasgow

Employment issues are of major importance to everyone. This six week series of training sessions are aimed at providing those attending with a basic grounding in the main areas of Employment Law. The sessions will be in the form of workshops which will provide the opportunity for discussions and debate.

The topic will include contracts of employment, discrimination, unfair dismissal, redundancy, transfer of undertakings, tribunal procedure and dispute resolution. Participants will also have the opportunity to visit a Tribunal and watch a case.

Cost - £150 (full course) or £30 per session (Free to local residents in Govan - places may be limited).
