Increased media interest in education and schooling, as well as a steady increase in education-related litigation mean that the profile of Scots education law has never been higher. The actions and decisions of teachers and other professionals working within education are increasingly subjected to judicial scrutiny. Those who advise children and parents require a thorough knowledge of the relevant legislation and case law. It is however difficult to access these is a user friendly format.
