Basic Education Law Course

Increased media interest in education and schooling, as well as a steady increase in education-related litigation mean that the profile of Scots education law has never been higher.

The actions and decisions of teachers and other professionals working within education are increasingly subjected to judicial scrutiny. Those who advise children and parents require a thorough knowledge of the relevant legislation and case law. It is however  difficult to access these is a user friendly format.

Programme:  Week 1:  Parental rights and responsibilities in relation to education

Week 2: Placing requests

Financial assistance

Week 3:  Exclusion

Week 4:  Special Educational Needs

Week 5:  Bullying

Human Rights implications will be fully considered where they arise.

Cancellation policy: Cancellation policy: Full refund where cancellation is received within 2 weeks of the event; after this point 90% refund is payable; however, no refund is payable for cancellations received or intimated on the date of the event.
