a new free community legal resource for the people of Govanhill

Govan Law Centre are establishing a new law centre funded by the Scottish Government 
and supported by Govanhill Housing Association, Govanhill Community Development 
Trust, Oxfam, and Unison. 

We aim to tackle private sector slum landlords and agency gangmasters. We want to
root out discrimination and exploitation and improve the health and wellbeing of the
local community. 

 

SOLICITORS (2)

are required with civil court and tribunal experience and a strong 

knowledge of housing or employment law; an

ADVISOR/ INTERPRETER 

with fluency in Slovakian, and Polish or Russian language skills 

desirable, advice training provided; and a

CLERICAL OFFICER

training provided.
